Gabaliukai: 8-10

Porcijos (1/10) energetinė vertė: 299 kcal, 10.9 gr. Riebalų, 30.4 gr. cukraus

Produktai:

3 kiaušiniai
150 gr cukraus
100 ml aliejaus (aš naudojau apie 80 gr. tirpinto sviesto)
160 g miltų
1 a.š. kepimo miltelių
0.5 citrinos žievelė (tarkuotos) ir sultys
6 nulupti ir supjaustyti skiltelėmis vid. dydžio obuoliai (aš naudojau tik 4, nes daugiau neturėjau )
100 gr. džiovintų slyvų

Gaminimo procesas:

Orkaitę įkaitinti iki 180 C. Iškloti kepimo popieriumi kepimo formą 20x20 cm (aš naudojau 19 cm apvalią).

Obuolius sumaišyti su citrinos sultimis ir žievele. Kiaušinius išplakti su cukrumi iki vienalytės masės, plakant įpilti aliejų (arba tirpintą sviestą), įsijoti miltus ir kepimo miltelius, gerai viską išmaišyti.

Tešlą išmaišyti su obuoliais, įmaišyti džiovintas slyvas. Tada supilti tešlą į formą, kepti apie 40 minučių. Patikrinti mediniu pagaliuku, jei jis neaplips tešla vadinas pyragas iškepęs.

Iškepusį pyragą 5 minutėms palikti formoje, tada išimti ir pabaigti aušinti ant grotelių.

There was a time when my apple pies were like a currency – I was bribing my colleagues at work with them, I was making them for the physics lessons for my sister and for Christmas I was always asked to bake 'that apple pie with a "grid”’ .

Now when time and products at home were limited, but I had few apples that were already asking to be used I had to find a simple and easy apple pie recipe. This apple pie is simple but really good, I don’t think there is a better way to use the apples.

Makes: 8-10 pieces

The Nutritional value of 1 piece (1/10): 299 calories,10.9 gr. Fat, 30.4 gr. sugars

Products:

3 eggs
150 gr. sugar
100 ml. olive oil (I used about 80 g. melted butter)
160 gr. flour
1 tsp baking powder
Zest (grated) and juice of 0.5 lemon
6 apples peeled and cut into pieces (I used only 4, because didn’t have more)
100 gr. prunes

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 C. Line 20x20 cm baking pan with baking paper (I used 19 cm round pan).

Mix apple pieces with lemon juice and zest. Beat the eggs with sugar until a smooth, gradually beating continuously add the oil (or melted butter) , sift in the flour and baking powder, mix everything well.

Stir in the apples, then add the prunes and mix again. Pour the batter into the baking pan, bake about 40 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool the apple pie in the form for 5 minutes, then remove and finish cooling on the wire rack.

  4. This sounds so easy to make and it certainly looks yummy. Is the texture more like a cake? Coz it doesn't sound like it has a crust. Would have loved to have a peek at the inside :)

    1. There is no crust, it is rally soft and if you add a lot of apples bit moist. You can see inside here http://zaidziamevirtuve.blogspot.com.au/2011/10/paprastas-obuoliu-pyragas-once-more.html

    1. Thanks.
I have to admit that I am not trying to cook very healthy. But if you skip the prunes and add less sugar (if appleas are sweet enough) then this apple pie can be even healthier :)
